Seasonal Maintenance Tips
Keep your custom enclosure looking beautiful and structurally sound through every North Carolina season.
Pollen & Prep
Gently wash screens with mild soapy water to remove the heavy NC pine pollen. Inspect spline for any winter damage before the bugs arrive.
Storm Checks
Check structural fasteners and anchor points. Keep gutters above the enclosure clear to prevent heavy water overflow during afternoon thunderstorms.
Leaf Removal
Regularly blow or gently sweep leaves off the roof panels. Wet leaves left too long can cause staining and add unnecessary weight to the structure.
Ice & Debris
Trim back any overhanging pine branches that may snap under ice weight. Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washers if cleaning during cold months.
